Abbreviated List of 2006-2008 Religious Holy Days and Festivals

The University of Richmond community includes people from a rich variety of religious traditions.  This abbreviated list of major religious holy days and observances is offered both to assist in planning campus events, and to help in educating the community about the significance of religious observances of traditions other than our own. A more complete calendar is also available. See also interfaithcalendar.org and the UR Chaplaincy's weekly spiderbytes which detail religious observances (using information from the National Conference for Community and Justice's Interfaith Calendar).

Please feel free to contact the Office of the Chaplaincy if you have any questions, comments, or corrections: chaplaincy@richmond.edu.
