Inward-Outward Journey Retreat

Saturday, April 8, 2017
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Richmond Hill

This half-day retreat offers students in the Inward-Outward Journey Group an opportunity to get away from the busy pace of campus in order to engage in intentional reflection on questions related to spirituality and service, faith and action. We will meet with members of the Richmond Hill community to pray with them, eat with them, and learn from them how they live the inward-outward journey in the heart of Richmond.

Richmond Hill was founded in 1987 as an ecumenical Christian fellowship and residential community who serve as stewards of an urban retreat cetner within the setting of a historic monastery. Their mission is to seek God's healing of metropolitan Richmond through prayer, hospitality, racial reconciliation, and spiritual development. It is located twenty minutes from the UR campus. Transportation will be provided to and from Richmond Hill.  Lunch will be eaten with members of the community in their dining hall.

The retreat is open to all students enrolled in the Inward-Outward Journey Group, and there is no fee to attend. The registration deadline is Saturday, March 18.
