Torah and Education

Hillel comes together on a regular basis to discuss different topics, engage in a social action project, or just hang out.  Each topic, generated by our Hillel leadership team, is framed through Jewish values as we discuss how this topic is immediately relevant to our lives at UR in the 21st century.  We have four distinct formats for our weekly conversations: Interactive Judaism (social programs often involving games and food), Social Action programming, Coffee & Conversation (exploring tough topics through a Jewish lens), and Special Events.

If you have questions or an idea you would like to propose, please contact our Josh Jeffreys, Jewish Chaplain and Director of Religious Life.

On Tuesday nights, Jewish students are also encouraged to join the Multifaith Student Council for its weekly dinner and discussion.  Every week at 6 p.m., join the MFSC for a free dinner with stimulating conversation with students of all faith traditions to discuss issues that matter to all of us.
