Ablution/Wudū’ Stations
In March 2023, University Facilities completed renovations to the second-floor restrooms of the Wilton Center to include ablution stations designed for Muslim ritual ablution (wuḍū'). Wuḍū' is an important ritual in Islam, required for various acts of worship, most notably prayer.
The inclusion of ablution stations greatly enhances convenience for students, faculty, and staff who need to perform wuḍū'. The stations are situated on the same floor as the Prayer Room, allowing for easy access and ensuring that individuals can perform their ablutions comfortably.
These renovations reflect the university's commitment to accommodating the religious practices of its Muslim community, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. By providing these facilities, the university acknowledges the importance of Muslim spiritual practices and promotes a welcoming space for Muslim students to practice their faith with ease.
