The fall retreat is an opportunity to slow down and engage in spiritual practices that help to sustain our faith and well-being amidst the busy pace of college life.

Retreat Schedule

9:00 a.m
Meet in the Wilton Center Multifaith Room/Continental breakfast available

9:15 a.m.
Welcome and Introductions/Framing of the Day                                     
How do I nurture spirituality amidst a busy schedule?
Facilitator:  Craig Kocher, University Chaplain

10:00 a.m.
Walking the Labyrinth/Prayer and Meditation

11:00 a.m.
Serving our community: Farmer’s Market at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church
        
1:00 p.m.
Lunch will be provided.

2:00 p.m.
Hike by James River (time for silence, journaling, reflection)    

3:30 p.m.
Return to campus/Concluding thoughts

The retreat will be led by University Chaplain Craig Kocher and Associate Chaplain Bryn Taylor. There is no fee to attend. Transportation will be provided to and from the service site and the hike.

Registration is required, as space is limited.  Register by noon on Monday, September 11.
